Week 1: Physical limits, Day 2: Up in the air, Activity 2: One small step for man.

Week 1: Physical limits, Day 2: Up in the air, Activity 2: One small step for man.

For this activity, let’s imagine that you were Neil Armstrong.
On your blog, write a short poem describing how you felt when you first set foot on the moon. Here is a link to some different poetry forms.

  1. Tālofa Lava Toeumu,

Kueni here for the Summer Learning Programme. I, along with Eliza am apart of the Summer Learning Journey and thought i’d pop over to your blog to check out some of your awesome blog posts! :)

Tino pai on an awesome blog post about landing on the moon as Neil Armstrong. I really enjoyed reading your acrostic poem about how you would feel if it were you landing on the moon for the very first time! I really like the image you have used for the background of your poem, it makes your post stand out!

I especially like what you have written for “O” - ‘One step for man, one giant leap for mankind”’. That is such an awesome and iconic sentence don’t you think?

Something that is quite similar to what it might’ve been like up in space, would be the stardome which is at One Tree Hill, have you ever been there before? It is such an awesome experience and even though its not space, you get to look at all the stars and different constellations.

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts over the summer, enjoy the rest of you day!

    Tofa,
    Kueni :)
