For this activity, we would like to hear about a time when you, or someone you know, was brave like Sully.
On your blog, recount a time when you (or someone else you know) did something brave.
A true story:
My school Wesley intermediate, had a trip. It was to go to E.M.R, we had to go to Goat Island Marine Reserve and other trips. It was part our school inquiry. I was a little bit scared and nervous to go there, because I wasn't a good swimmer. I didn't want to go, so I told my teacher Miss Peterson. When I told her, she tried encouraging me to go, saying that it would be a fun time to snorkel for the first time in the ocean. Credit for photo ➡️⬇️
I still didn't want to go, so I asked my friends if they were good swimmers, they said they were confident enough to swim in the ocean, and they also encouraged me and told me that it would be fun to go there, they also said we would be supervised, So I tried being brave, and went on the trip, when I went there, we went snorkeling, it was REALLY fun! I don't regret going and never will, I also hope I go there again! It was amazing there to see all the beautiful fish and coral! I'm also happy that my friends and teacher encouraged me going, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have been there! ![]() |

MÅrena Toe'umu, I hope you are having a fantastic morning so far!
ReplyDeleteThank you for doing week one, day two, activity three! I really enjoyed reading the story you’ve written. I never used to be a confident swimmer either and I still get a bit scared of big waves so it sounds like you were super brave in that moment. It also sounds like you’ve fantastic, supportive friends :)
A goal I have this summer is to learn how to surf and I'm so excited about it! Do you have any goals for this summer?
Thanks for sharing your bravery story! Have a fantastic day.
Eliza :)
