On your blog, write a short explanation of what the charity does.
The charity i chose, was Auckland City Mission. I choose it because I love what they do, it's very helpful and caring!
What they do is, help people. They can help people with crisis services, Homeless services, Elderly services, Distribution services, drug and alcohol services and much more!
Also at the moment they are helping families at four different places in Auckland with food parcels, Christmas presents and food grants. Which is amazing!

Kindness is never wasted.

Today, my teacher read an Aseop to the class. The story was about a lion and a mouse. From this story, I learnt that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. Meaning that you shouldn't judge someone from their appearance or  just because they are small.

Life education!

Through out this week, Life education came to Wesley Intermediate, my class and I went in the Life education caravan. Michelle (The instructor) was teaching us about the brain. I learnt a lot of new things like the back of your brain helps you see, so if you hurt that part of your brain you get be blind.

I also learnt that, there are two parts of your brain. The downstairs , and the upstairs of your brain.  The downstairs is like the part where your emotions are, and the upstairs is where like your thinking brain is.  I learnt lots of stuff that I never knew before, I enjoyed it while it lasted. Blog you later!
